June 1st , 2022 . Runners High 5K, LLC and MoreBetter Ltd. announced that the companies entered into a strategic research partnership for Runners High 5k 2nd run/walk in support of cannabis research.
Since the inception Runner’s High 5k in 2018. Runners High has had over 200 runners and over 12 sponsors in support of Cannabis Research led by Dr. Gustavo Rosania of the University of Michigan. This year’s run will continue to support the research at the Dr. Gus Cannabis Research Labs with the goal to collect data through new metrics that identify how cannabis products are used and how it affects the consumer experience.
Through this partnership with Morebetter’s Releaf App, Runners High will now have tangible results to educate race participants about the positive effects of cannabis in athletics and running.
Runner’s who register for this year’s run will have the option to opt in as a participant of the study by downloading the Releaf App . Race sponsors will have the option to highlight their products at the run and also on the Releaf App as an option for runners to choose from during the study, with other marketing services upon request.
The partnership couldn’t be a more perfect collaboration in the sports cannabis world. Combining data tracking with canna-athletes in real time. Both groups will give consumers the opportunity to better understand the importance of cannabis in athletics, especially runners.
