Pushing Sports Psychedelics to the Forefront

Empower Psychedelics was founded by retired Rugby Player Jonathan Hill and retired Professional/Collegiate Hockey Player, First Responder Nigel Smith in May 2020.  With a commitment to psychedelic science, they are on a mission to provide novel therapies to those who have experienced traumatic situations and injury.

Today Empower Psychedelics is focused on bridging the gap between athletes, first responders and psychedelics, taking residency at the HealthTech District in Surrey BC.  Empower Psychedelics will continue to push research and development initiatives forward, exploring alternative treatment opportunities for athletes, first responders, military veterans and individuals that are suffering from mental and/or physical health conditions.

With strong roots in the Rugby World, Co Founders, Jonathan Hill and Nigel Smith are committed to donating resources as well as supporting the development of Rugby in Canada.  The team has recently aligned with Iron Neck, and is exploring opportunities in concussion prevention and rehabilitation with their revolutionary product.

Fostering the sport psychedelics conversation, Jonathan Hill and Nigel Smith believe Empower Psychedelics will create a holistic container where research and practical applications for psychedelic therapies collide to enable humans to live better and recover faster.  On November 01, 2021, the Canadian Classics Rugby, announced Empower Psychedelics as their official sponsor.  Aligning with EMPOWER’s mission, the Canadian Classics Rugby is a non-profit organization that honours First Responder and Military veterans through fundraising efforts, health & wellness retreats and providing a community.
