Beast Mode showed up in South LA — and this time Marshawn Lynch brought flower. Dodi, Lynch’s signature cannabis label born in the Bay Area, officially launched in South Los Angeles through a new partnership with Originals, debuting Dodi flower strains, a cultivation tour, and a meet-and-greet that marks the brand’s first public rollout in the city.

Marshawn Lynch’s athletic legacy is defined by 12 seasons in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks, and Oakland Raiders and a relentless “Beast Mode” running style. Drafted 12th overall in 2007, Lynch became the first Bills rookie since 1984 to rush for 1,000 yards, earned five Pro Bowl selections and a First-Team All-Pro nod, and was a key player on Seattle’s Super Bowl XLVIII team — including the unforgettable 67-yard “Beast Quake” playoff touchdown. After multiple retirements and a return to Oakland, Lynch has since parlayed his profile into business and ownership ventures while bringing that same authenticity to Dodi.

Dodi began in Northern California and built a reputation on premium genetics and an unapologetically authentic approach to cannabis culture — qualities that echo Lynch’s own values. With Originals licensing Dodi and handling cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution, the partnership grounds the brand’s expansion while keeping its Oakland cannabis roots intact.

The first Dodi drop hit the public stage at Originals’ flagship facility in South LA on September 27th. The South LA launch included a cultivation tour, an exclusive meet-and-greet with Marshawn Lynch, and complimentary gift bags containing the full Dodi flower lineup. The debut strains — Beast Berry, Milk & Cookies, and Charlie OG — were presented as expressions of Dodi’s premium ethos and Originals’ genetics legacy.

Beast Berry: A Gelato-based hybrid with bold, fruity notes and a powerful high worthy of Lynch’s nickname. 

Milk & Cookies: An indulgent Oreo cut crossed with Runtz, balancing sweet flavor with euphoric effects. 

Charlie OG: A classic from Originals’ legendary genetics vault, heavy-hitting and timeless.

“Family is a big part of why I’m involved in this industry, and Originals… is… family,” Lynch said. “They’re respected for being the best at what they do, and that means a lot to me. We’re excited that Dodi has a partner we can be proud of.”

The South LA launch of Dodi, backed by Originals, marks a clear next chapter for the Oakland-born brand as it signals a move onto the national stage while staying true to community, family, and quality.
