Professional Soccer Athlete, Gold Medalist, Businesswoman, and Cannabis Advocate Alex Morgan is known not only for her impressive on-field performances but also for her efforts in reshaping the narrative around cannabis and its healing properties.

Alex Morgan’s illustrious career began in 2009 as the first overall pick in the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team draft. Her achievements include winning her first Gold Olympic Medal in 2012 and co-captaining the U.S. team to victory in the 2019 FIFA World Cup.

In addition to her athletic and business endeavours, Alex Morgan is a vocal advocate for cannabis use among athletes.  In recent years, Morgan has teamed up with fellow athletes Klay Thompson, Travis Pastrana, and Paul Rodriguez to create Just Live, a CBD company that provides natural, clean alternatives for fitness enthusiasts and athletes at all levels.

Using her platform to change the narrative, Morgan openly discusses using CBD products as part of her recovery routine, emphasizing their role in helping her stay fresh and recover faster between practices and games.

I find it works best when I use it during my nightly routine for bed.” Adding, “I have a convincing experience when I sprained my shoulder and had a match 3 days later. I applied a CBD roll-on oil multiple times a day as a Hail Mary to play as pain-free as possible, and on game day, I woke up to minimal pain. I’ve used it on muscle aches and pains ever since. I also have a hard time winding down after a game, and I have found that I can go to sleep earlier after a game and feel more rested when I have a CBD capsule or tincture following the match.”

Morgan’s advocacy extends beyond personal use. She aims to shift perceptions around cannabis in sports, advocate for its acceptance as a legitimate healing modality, and pave the way for athletes of all backgrounds to benefit from alternative health practices.
